What are webpage Frames?

It is a term used to describe a viewing and layout style of a website. It refers to the simultaneous loading of 2 or more webpages at the same time within the same screen.

Most search engines do not index framed webpages properly - they only index the text present in the NOFRAMES tag. Unless a webpage which uses frames contains relevant content in the NOFRAMES tag, it is unlikely to get a high search engine ranking.

Because of the same reason BackLink-PageRank does not index the links that are located on the source pages within the Framed web page. In order for you to verify a link you need to know the URL to the source page where you have placed the link.
